Example Notifications
MerchVault provides push notifications to your device whenever a new product is added or restocked based on your keywords and/or enabled stores. The notification itself will simply appear similar to the below.
As you can see, it clearly displays the product thumbnail (where possible), product title, store name and whether it's flagged as a 'New Product' or a 'Restock'.
Tapping a notification will automatically open your default browser. If you do not have MerchVault open (ie you have force closed the app) then you may be redirected to the default home page (Stores page) of MerchVault rather than the link automatically opening. If this happens just simply navigate to the Filtered/Unfiltered feed page and tap the product - This is something we cannot control so it's advised to always keep MerchVault open on your device for best experience.
MerchVault also sends you notifications for the following;
New subscription
Cancelling subcription
Reinstated subscription
Renewal/cancellation reminders
MerchVault also has the ability to send you manual notifications to alert you on updates, announcements and even when new stores are added. All non-store related notifications will only appear as push notifications and are not stored in-app or any of the feed pages.
