# Settings

The settings page contains a lot of useful additional tools and features. We strongly recommend you review each feature/option. Below is an overview of what each option grants;

* Premium

This shows if you are a Premium user or not and will allow you to upgrade if you wish to subscribe to MerchVault Premium. If you are a Premium user you will see your renewal date or your cancellation date (If you have cancelled your subscription the date will be shown as 'Cancels: \<date>' which would be the date your Premium status is revoked and you return back to the normal 'Free' tier).

* Notifications

This is self explanatory. You can enable 'Filtered Notifications' if you are a Premium user otherwise you should just use 'Unfiltered Notifications' as standard.&#x20;

Filtered Notifications will only send you push notifications based on your keywords/filtered feed.

Unfiltered Notifications will send you push notifications for every enabled store.

* Link Handling

**Open Links In App:** Enabled by default but this option to open links within the MerchVault app instead of your default browser. This is particularly useful if you're experiencing issues with certain browsers, like Samsung's internal browser, which may not handle external links properly. Note this does not affect how notifications are handled.

**Shop App Configuration:** This allows you to log into Shop.app via the MerchVault browser to enable one click checkout on hundreds of stores. This is safe and secure and is the same as logging into Shop.app via your normal browser.

* Default Home Page

This allows you to set the page which opens when you launch the application from full closure.

* Keywords

This is a Premium feature. Please refer to the detailed keywords article for more information on adding/utilising keywords to personalise your experience with MerchVault.

* Refer Friends

This section allows you to refer friends to MerchVault via your own referral code. You can then redeem your referrals for rewards via the account website on our website!

* Extras

**Free Premium:** A shortcut to our free premium page on our website.

**Request A Store:** Allows you to request your favourite artist or record store to be added to MerchVault (Premium feature).

**Clear Feeds:** Allows you to clear your filtered/unfiltered feed if you wish to do so. This cannot be undone.

* Advanced

**Refresh Premium Status:** If you've recently purchased or been granted premium status, tap this to force refresh your status in-app and unlock all premium functionality.

**Push Notification Token Status**: This lets you know if your push notification (FCM) token is active and registered with our server.

**Reset Push Notifications Token:** If you're no longer receiving notifications, try resetting your FCM token as it may have been invalidated or corrupted. This is normally never needed but is provided as a failsafe for any unusual edge cases such as if you attempt to login to the same account on various devices.

**Clear App Cache:** This option allows you fully clear your MerchVault cache and similarly to the above is provided as a failsafe and is likely only needed if you're ever having issues due to having numerous devices sharing one MerchVault account (Which is not advised!)
